Finders International on BBC Radio Scotland with Kaye Adams

Joining Kaye Adams for the morning broadcast, Danny Curran recounted some of the most memorable cases during his 30+ years of experience in the probate genealogy industry.

In Glasgow, almost 250 unclaimed estates have been released and are ready to be claimed by the rightful heirs. These estates are left with The Office of Queen’s and Lord Treasurer’s Remembrancer when a person passes away intestate, and no will and no next of kin can be traced. As these estates (typically financial assets but occasionally it could be a property, shares or personal effects) have been left unclaimed for some time, It is through the work of Probate genealogists and researchers that these estates that have been left unclaimed can consequently be reunited with their beneficiaries.

Listen to Finders International’s MD Daniel Curran, bring to light the entire probate process, including the calculated risks as well as reveal some of the outstanding cases he has encountered in his 30+ years of experience in the industry. Including one which left a grandson with a winning lottery ticket.
